When Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., now Southern Glazer’s, then country’s leading wine and spirits distributor, decided to create its web site in 2001, I was engaged by the Company’s Senior Management at its headquarters in Miami, Florida, to contribute, edit and monitor content updates, including detailed articles about Southern’s Founders, profiles of its Senior Executives, Company history, its Mission Statement, and a range of Corporate Social Responsibility and charitable activities.
In close consultation with the Company’s Senior Managers and its Corporate Communications team, I have also written much of the content on the site’s individual state websites; this website editorial work continued until 2016, when the Company united with Glazer’s.
